I had a great experience, good food and a friendly service

This is one of those restaurants you take your kids to and they take theirs and so on and so on. 1 meat 3 veggies and a dessert that's awesome, love the lemon pie. Each day there is a list of variety meat, then different veggies, roll or corn bread. Real good hamburgers... big. And salad bar. Try it, you'll be back.

Great meat and three restaurant with a salad bar. Servers are very friendly and welcoming. Had the handbreaded shrimp special, delicious and a great value. Yummy desserts, too! Located near Unclaimed Baggage.

Food was very good and the staff were very nice. The only thing that shocked me was $2. for a glass of iced tea.

We had the meatloaf and chicken plates which was very good. Service was very good. The only negative was some of the food was only lukewarm when we got our plates. The place appeared very clean. The staff made us feel very welcomed and the owner came by to make sure everything was good. You dont find that anymore. We will eat here again when we are in the area and want good country food.

As good as it ever was. Very clean, friendly great country cooking. You couldn't ask for better..

I was very disappointed with the food. Okra was boiled so long that it was mush on my plate. The slaw had no taste and you could tell the potatoes are instant. I will go to my fav restaurant in Rainsville for fresh home cooked food from now on.

Been having lunch there for 40 years , always got good food & service , the staff checks on customers needs like they should. My mother would have me take her after her doctor appointment before she passed.

Horrible. I ordered eggs over medium. I got one over easy and one over hard. I asked for my hash browns to be served crisp not burnt. The drinks (coffee and Coke) were there quickly but never got refilled. Ever.I don't give bad reviews normally, but I will never return. Gave it one star only because I couldn't give less.

All I can say is wow. Their breakfast omlette blew my mind!!!! It was very filling, and the restaurant has a really nice southern homey vibe to it. If you're around unclaimbed baggage and want some good food. Look no further. I can't wait to go back. Such great service, and awesome employee's as well!!! 5/5 will be dining there again!

We always enjoy our visit to Liberty Restaurant. The good ol' country cooking is a lot like you'd get at your mom's or your grandma's house. Our son (early 40s) says it is his favorite southern style restaurant! The fried chicken is one of my favorites. Haven't tried your desserts yet but I would bet they will not disappoint!

Old school roadside diner. Homemade desserts with lemon pie, peach cobbler, coconut pie, chocolate pie, homemade strawberry ice cream, homemade chocolate ice cream. Lunch mostly of the meat and three variety with lots of vegetable choices. Breakfast was the usual plus a strong omelet offering. One of Scottsboro's Best!

Great food, fast service, friendly servers.

The place is clean, food was great. The most of all you can feel the Sothern Hospitality and the taste of the real country food. The menu is not big but good and simple. They serve the food very fast.

Unless you are a "local" don't even try to get in. They cater only to those they know. Most unfriendly, unwelcoming place I think I've ever been. So much for small town appeal. They reserve over half of the seating for thier locals and only offer you seating away from them. Not a place I would recommend.

We don’t live in Scottsboro but passing through we found Liberty Restaurant. We loved it!! Great food and the sweetest people! Felt like home!!! We will definitely be making the drive to go back

Consistently good. Breakfast all day option. Clean, quiet, and quick service from the staff. The owner always checks on your satisfaction. No complaints. [Just don't drink the water while you're in this city. The locals warn against it.]

The place wasn't very busy but the food (breakfast) took forever. The silverware was damp inside a plastic wrapping for some reason. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy was like paste with no flavor. I'm not expecting a lot from a small diner, but it seriously had no flavor. A quick trip to the bathroom before hitting the road made me worry about the cleanliness of the kitchen. The bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned for awhile. Leaving on a positive note, the waitress was really friendly.

The atmosphere is great. Just a simple diner with great service and a wonderful, friendly staff. The food is definitely worth it. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

So good!! The server and gentleman who rang us up were very friendly. I had the chicken dressing, green beans, mashed potatoes, and okra. Everything was to die for. Also tried a corn muffin and roll - if you're in the area, definitely worth a stop.
